About Us
Legom is a HVAC and underfloor heating manufacturer whose roots in thermostatic control technology reach back to 2011. What started as a single specialism, the formulation and production of wax thermostatic elements, has grown into a complete range of hydronic heating components and smart controls now supplied to more than 400 partners across over 90 countries. Legom is the international manufacturing and OEM/ODM brand of SMLGE, carrying more than a decade of production experience into export markets worldwide.
From a Single Component to a Complete Heating System
Most heating brands begin by assembling parts that other people make. We started at the opposite end, with the smallest and most demanding component in the chain: the wax thermostatic element. This is the tiny sealed cylinder that senses temperature and drives the movement inside actuators, mixing valves, and safety devices. Get it wrong and an entire heating system becomes inaccurate or unsafe. Getting it right took years of work on wax formulation and material science.
That foundation shaped everything that followed. Once we understood how heat, materials, and mechanical response behave at the element level, building the components around it became a natural progression. Each new product line was added because customers needed it and because we already held the core technology to make it well.

What Legom Manufactures Today
From that single starting point, the Legom range now covers the full hydronic heating system under one roof. Our core lines include the wax thermostatic element, thermal actuator, room thermostat, base station, manifold, HVAC valve, floor heating pipe, heat pump, air purifier, and water purifier. Because we engineer these components together rather than sourcing them from different suppliers, they are designed to be compatible from the start, which removes a common source of failure on site.
This vertical approach is also what makes us a genuine manufacturer rather than a trading company. Production, quality testing, and dispatch run from our facility in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, with direct access to the Ningbo and Shanghai export ports.
Engineering Depth Behind the Range
The expertise that began with wax chemistry has widened over the years to include electronic control and PTC sensing technology. Our wax elements still use raw material imported from Europe, the same grade supplied to several leading global brands, and every element is produced on automated lines and individually tested for stroke and temperature response before it leaves the factory. That combination of mechanical and electronic control technology is what allows Legom to build complete, coordinated systems instead of isolated parts.
Everything we make today traces back to one component, the wax thermostatic element. Mastering that single part taught us how heat, materials, and control actually behave, and that knowledge is now built into every actuator, manifold, and thermostat that leaves our factory. It is also why I can stand behind the system as a whole, not just the individual pieces.

Manufacturing for regulated markets means our products are made to comply with international standards including CE, ISO 9001, ACS, WRAS, RoHS, and relevant ASSE and NSF standards, depending on the product. Certification support is part of how we work, so partners can enter their target markets without repeating testing themselves. We welcome factory visits, because the most direct way to judge a manufacturer is to see the production line in person.
